I want to make my Trans Am louder?

I just got a 98 Trans Am and its all stock so the exhaust sound is really quiet. Can anyone tell me if by replacing just the muffler will it make my car louder? Or do I need to change the whole exhaust system? My budget is about $200 at the moment so any suggestions is appreciated. And by the way which brand muffler is the way to go? Flowmaster /Magnaflow/ Borla???
