I have had dreams about people trying to kill me my whole life. What does it mean?

I have been having dreams about people trying to kill me since I have been five years old (that's as far as I can remember) and have now found them normal. I found out when I get stressed they don't occur and when they don't occur I find it weird. I have started to fight back around when I was in 7th grade and also killed some of the people trying to kill me. I have also had zombie dreams where I would fight them and try to escape. The first dream I remember was Chucky, from child's play, was killing trying to kill me if I didn't join him. I don't know if this means I'm secretly demented. I think it will help me understand the meaning of these dreams seeing as I have had them my whole life.
