Am I honestly demented? ?

I read a book about suicide and I'm interested in death... People have called me demented and I've been considered a weirdo my whole life I don't feel like I fit in and there's only a few ppl I'm appreciated by.... I'm surprised that even one person likes me. Im not committing suicide it's just an interesting book.... I wasbt made fun of for the book but for my attitude... Am I demented?
